Novelis Deutschland GmbH is one of the largest producers of rolled aluminum products and the largest aluminum recycling company in the world. The company has a network of advanced rolling and recycling technologies in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Its products are exported all over the world.

Scope of work: During the so-called shutdown, which included the period around Christmas, New Year and Epiphany, we provided Novelis Deutschland GmbH with 30 fitters and 16 welders to renovate the smelter. At that time two damaged metallurgical furnaces were dissembled, cleaned of aluminum using plasma, and then welded using the MAG-135 method.
Time Period: Aug – Sep, 2019
Scope of work: We provided six fitters to carry out renovation works at the aluminum smelter owned by Novelis Deutschland GmbH at the time of the so-called summer shutdown. The works concerned one metallurgical furnace and defects arising during the operation of the smelter.
Time Period: Dec 7-31, 2019
Scope of work: During the Christmas shutdown, we provided twelve fitters for ventilation pipes and three welders for the renovation of the Novelis Deutschland GmbH and Befesa Aluminum Germany GmbH steelworks. Our employees replaced the ventilation pipe system of the largest aluminum smelter in the world, working for 15 days, 10 hours a day, at a height of 12-16 m, under the hall’s vault.
